Corrections and clarifications
We get things wrong sometimes. When we do, we say so on the article and here.
What we mean by each word.
A correction means a fact was wrong and has been put right. A clarification means a fact was accurate but could have been misread, and the wording has been changed. An update means new information has changed the picture and nothing was wrong.
How to report an error.
Email contact@nbksocial.com with the article link and what you believe is wrong. We reply within two working days and tell you what we found and what we changed.
How corrections appear.
A significant correction is marked at the top of the article, dated, and describes what was wrong. A minor correction is marked at the foot. We do not silently edit. Every correction is also listed below, newest first. The rules behind this page are set out in our editorial standards.
