LinkedIn tests In-Stream Ads revenue for creators and launches a creator dashboard.
LinkedIn is testing pre-roll ad revenue for US creators, launching a creator dashboard and paid Advice Sessions, and testing a Network feed in the UK.
LinkedIn announced a set of creator and networking features on 15 October 2026, in a LinkedIn Pressroom post.
The headline for anyone posting on the platform is money: eligible creators can now join an In-Stream Ads programme and earn revenue when pre-roll video ads run alongside their eligible video content. That is a test among select US creators and advertisers, with what LinkedIn calls “broader access planned over time”.
Alongside it, LinkedIn is rolling out a new creator dashboard and Advice Sessions, paid 1:1 consultations booked from a profile. LinkedIn frames the launch with its own figures: the number of founders on LinkedIn is up 70%, the share of members reporting more than one ongoing position has risen 26% since 2019, and more than 80% of LinkedIn creators are building content alongside another role. The post gives no sample or window for the founder figure.
The creator tools
The dashboard puts performance, content management and ways to grow and earn in one place. It will roll out globally in the coming weeks and sits on mobile behind the profile picture in the top left of the app. The In-Stream Ads programme is joined from that dashboard.
Advice Sessions lets a member offer 1:1 consultations from their profile, with bookings, payments and video calls handled on LinkedIn. It is available now to Business Premium subscribers in the US, with “more markets coming soon”. LinkedIn has not given dates for other markets.
Authors can also now pin helpful comments on their posts. The post gives no eligibility or rollout detail for that.
The networking changes
LinkedIn is testing a dedicated Network feed of posts from connections and people you follow, rolling out in select markets starting with the US, India, the UK and Australia. The post’s own FAQ lists only the US, India and Australia, so the UK’s place in the test is stated once and not repeated. Personalised digital business cards that can be added to a digital wallet are rolling out globally over the coming months, and Premium subscribers can now add private notes to profiles, available globally.
The post does not say how the Network feed affects what appears in the main feed, or what share of revenue In-Stream Ads pays creators.
What it means for creators
Video on LinkedIn now has a stated path to direct revenue, but only for invited US creators for now, and LinkedIn has not said who qualifies next. A dedicated feed of connections and follows, if it widens beyond the test, gives followers a second place to see a creator’s posts. This week, open the new dashboard as soon as it reaches your account and note your current video numbers, so you have a baseline before In-Stream Ads or the Network feed reach your market. If you sell your expertise and hold Business Premium in the US, Advice Sessions is live now. For the history behind LinkedIn’s creator tools, see what happened to LinkedIn Creator Mode.
