TikTok signs a deal with MADE BY US STUDIOS for creator-led micro-series.

TikTok and MADE BY US STUDIOS will co-produce creator-led vertical micro-series for TikTok and PineDrama, starting with Player and The Knock.

TikTok and MADE BY US STUDIOS announced a strategic partnership on 14 October 2026 to co-produce a slate of premium, creator-led vertical micro-series for TikTok and PineDrama.

The announcement describes MADE BY US STUDIOS as a studio designed for the creator economy, powered by the creator management company MADE BY ALL.

The first two series were unveiled at MIPCOM Cannes 2026. Player is a romantic revenge thriller starring creator Hannah Stocking (29.7M followers), who has a co-story credit and is an executive producer. It is produced by Jonas Barnes, written by Arun Blair-Mangat and Chela Reyna and directed by Louiza Zouzias. A post from the studio’s TikTok account, embedded in the announcement, says Player arrives on November 19, exclusively on TikTok and PineDrama.

The Knock is a genre micro-series created and directed by R.H. Stavis and executive produced by Spooky Pictures in collaboration with Moby’s Little Walnut Productions. It stars creator Adam Rose (7M followers) opposite Zaria Simone, and Moby composed the music.

The deal it follows

Earlier this year TikTok partnered with HOORAE, an Issa Rae company, to bring the micro-series Screen Time exclusively to TikTok and PineDrama. TikTok says Screen Time has amassed nearly 580 million views globally since its April launch, making it the top-performing show ever on TikTok and PineDrama.

Dawn Yang, TikTok’s Global Head of Entertainment and Micro-Series, said: “Micro-series are pioneering a new language of storytelling.” Leanne Perice, Co-CEO of MADE BY US STUDIOS, said the partnership “opens an exciting new path for creators to develop scripted stories, take on leading roles and help shape the projects they’re part of.”

The announcement does not say how many series the slate will hold or whether creators outside the studio can pitch for it.

What it means for creators

Both lead roles in the first two series went to creators, and Stocking also has story and executive producer credits, so scripted micro-series are a route TikTok is now backing for creators who want to act or develop their own stories. The announcement names no open call, so for now that route runs through studios and creator management companies. This week, watch Screen Time on TikTok or PineDrama to see how the top-performing show is built for the feed, and note it as the reference point if scripted work is on your plans.
