Creator · Revival · 18 months Reigniting a magic creator's fanbase.
After two years without featuring Julius Dein, engagement and loyalty had slipped. We rebuilt his presence from the catalogue out, and brought the fanbase back.
The situation
Julius Dein is one of the world's biggest magic creators, but two years without him featuring in his own content had cooled engagement and loyalty.
The job was to remove what no longer fit, re-engage the fanbase, and restore him as a leading magic creator, without a run of new productions to lean on.
What NBK did
We re-edited his classic viral magic videos with fresh twists to re-engage fans, and made the content feel personal again through Stories and behind-the-scenes updates.
Then we leaned hard into interaction, replying to comments and running Q&As to rebuild loyalty, and refined the mix continuously against what the data showed was landing.
What we actually did.
- Revived the catalogueRe-edited top-performing magic videos to fit current platform trends.
- Made it personalUsed Stories and behind-the-scenes content to rebuild a direct connection.
- Rebuilt loyaltyReplied, ran Q&As and engaged directly to bring the community back.
- Refined on dataTracked performance closely and adjusted the mix as engagement recovered.
You can revive a creator brand without new productions. The audience is usually still there, the content just needs to meet them where they are now.
Keep exploring.
Each engagement is a different brand and a different constraint, same operating discipline.
