Meta launches Muse Wonder models, which will soon power its Muse agent.
Meta’s Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full models are live for developers today and will soon power Muse, rolling out first to subscribers.
Meta has introduced Muse Wonder and Muse Wonder Full, which it calls its most capable models to date, built for personal and professional agentic tasks.
The announcement is dated 12 October 2026 and says the models build on the groundwork Meta laid with Muse Spark.
Muse Wonder is available today to developers and builders through the Meta Model API and Muse Code, and Muse Wonder Full is available today to Muse Code subscribers. Meta says Muse Wonder will soon power experiences in Muse, rolling out first to subscribers. It has not given a date for that. Meta has already pointed Muse at social and ads work for small businesses, so that agent will run on the new model once the rollout reaches it.
What the models do
Meta’s examples are navigating an insurance claim, making sense of a lease and building a working app. It names expert domains including law, finance and health, along with coding.
It also names two capabilities. Active Memory carries what matters to a person across conversations and brings back the details relevant to the task in hand. Active Focus keeps working towards a goal when a task gets hard: it tries other approaches, recovers from errors, asks for clarification when needed and checks in before following through on anything important.
Safety and what is still to come
Meta says a personal agent often works across a person’s messages, calendars and documents, so it trained the models to avoid sharing private information without permission and to turn down requests to help with harmful acts. A full report with additional safety evaluations will be available soon, Meta says, with no date given.
What it means for brands
For a team that already uses Muse or is weighing it up, the agent it hands work to will move to a new model when the rollout reaches it, starting with subscribers. The two capabilities Meta names, memory across conversations and checking in before anything important, are the ones that matter most when an agent works on a brand’s behalf. This week, note which tasks you currently give Muse and how well it handles them, so you have a baseline to compare against when Muse Wonder reaches your account.
